Linda Alpert-Gillis, PhD
Dr. Linda Alpert-Gillis is a clinical psychologist and professor of psychiatry, pediatrics, and clinical nursing at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is the ambulatory chief of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division, director of Pediatric Behavioral Health and Wellness Outpatient Services, and director of the Lab for Innovation in Child Mental Health Care Delivery. Her academic work focuses on 1) developing, implementing, and evaluating intervention models of mental health care for at-risk populations of children and families, and 2) training health care professionals from multiple disciplines to work with underserved families with evidence-based, culturally appropriate, strength-driven, sustainable interventions. As a faculty advisor on the Growing Resilience project, Dr. Alpert-Gillis specializes in innovation in child mental health service delivery.
