Managing Pain After Surgery

Postoperative Pain Management in Rural Communities

An important part of our Postoperative Pain Management in Rural Communities project is patient engagement and education. Patient choice is central to this project's success.

The infographic featured here is an educational resource that surgical care teams in this project share with patients before surgery. Developed with our partners in the Southern Tier region of New York, it is one of the tools we use to inform and empower patients around best practices for pain management.
